Are we true to ourselves?

I have had the experiences of a lifetime with fake people mostly, whose talk wouldn't pass the acid test of living unto it for the next ten minutes if it were to be tested! i have nothing against such people but for to laugh at it, because either they dont realize what fool they make of themselves for laughter or how empty they sound when they say all that and do the exact opposite! Having short term memory and shifts in values that constantly change - such things are not values, they are known as temporary beliefs, rightfully so because that is what it is.. Temporary!

There was this lady I am aware of who chanted mantras endlessly, perhaps a mantra for every problem that persists in her life. There is a problem with that! You suffer for your karma, that of your past lives, past and present. Past lives can be got rid rid of, but what will you do with what you do everyday here right now right here? It is surely gonna fall back! Nobody, not even Ravana was protected from his downfall because of chanting to Shiva! Funny how people follow the biggest of Swamys, Gurus or even seek to live the life of Buddhism but forget that all have set rules.

They forget the rules and what is left is empty boasting - Oh I follow this over a silly kitty party or in front of an audience. Without knowing the tenets of such philosophies these people continue to do what they do best - propagate life changing philosophies! I have seen plenty of people preaching Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Rama krishna or what not! The latest fad was Landmark foundation. If only they put a mirror to their behaviors with out the false excuses they give themselves I can assure all of them that it pretty much looks like loose talk. Like a prostitute who sells herself for money in return for pleasures of the body!

I dont anymore listen to such half proclaimed converts who project themselves as the epitome of whatever they currently follow. I am more than experienced in that matter to distinguish between whats fake and whats not. I thank my life for showing me these things and giving me the right lessons that I needed. Moral of the story: Not everyone is deserving of your love, energy or even time! Learn to distinguish with wisdom who is and who isn't. Distinguishing is what is not taught and hence the suffering. And just like you wouldn't eat someone's potty keep such people out of your lives. They aren't worth it!
